Sesame Chutney

Sesame Chutney

Sesame Chutney is an aromatic and mouth-watering chutney. Simple and easy to make, this chutney can add a lot of flavor to Ramadan snacks. You can also use this as a spread for your sandwiches or as a dip.

1 sliced Garlic Clove
6 – 7 Red Chilies
½ inch Ginger
2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 sliced Tomatoes
1 sliced Onion
1 tbsp Oil


In a pan, add the oil and once hot, add in the garlic and ginger.
Also add in the sesame seeds and chili flakes, once they begin popping, onion goes in.
As the onion gets translucent, add the tomatoes, salt and lemon juice.
Add the mixture to a blender and blend the chutney, adding water as required.
Garnish it with Sesame seeds.
