Palak Gosht

Palak Gosht


  • 1 kg spinach
  • Half kg mutton
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 tomatoes.
  • 1 tbs ginger garlic paste.
  • 1 tsp salt or add to taste
  • 1 and half tsp red chili powder.
  • Half tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp whole garam masala.
  • 1 big deep spoon of or pawa oil.
  • 2 tbs of cream


  •  Put mutton, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste and all dry spices into pressure cooker and add two cups of water and add oil in it and close the pressure cooker for 10 minutes.
  • Then put spinach in cooking pot add half glass water in it and put it on medium flame for boiling.
  • After 10 minuets open the cooker and check meat is properly cooked and then switch on flame and  cook it again until gravy leave oil on it when spinach boiled properly then blend it with blender for smooth paste and after that put this paste in gravy and cook it for 10 min so gravy and spinach mix together then add cream in it cook for 2 minuets.
  • Palak Gosht is ready! Serve hot with naan and roti.
