Mint Margarita

Difficulty: Easy, Cook Time: 8 Minutes, Core Ingredient: Mint Leaves, Servings: 2 Servings, Calories: 488

Description: A refreshing lemon soda infused with mint leaves. Helps soothe the digestive tract and quench thirst instantly. 


Mint ½ cup
Sugar ½ cup
Salt ½ tsp.
Springs of Mint 3-5
Lemon Juice of 3 Lemons
Ice cubes as preferred
7 Up or Sprite 250 ml


In a bender, blend together the water, sugar, salt, mint, lemon juice and ice cubes together, pulsing until the ice is crushed completely. Fill each glass up to half with the Sprite or 7-Up, then pour the mint mixture into it until each glass is full. Stir the two liquids to combine the flavours.

Garnish the ridge of the glasses with a slice of lemon each or  mint leaves for decoration. Serve immediately.


Note: Prepare the drink right before serving so that the ice does not melt. You can, however, prepare the mint mixture beforehand.
