Fresh Milk 2 Liter
Milk 2 Cups
Small Cardamom 8
Kalakand 1 Cup
Rice Â˝ Cup
Sugar 1- Â˝ Cup
Crushed Almonds, Pistachios as required
Wash rice and soak for 15 minutes. Put milk in pot and cook until thick. Put soaked rice, cardamom and sugar and cook it. Keep stirring it continuously.
Once all the ingredients are combined, turn off the stove. After letting it cool off for 15 minutes, add milk. Add some almonds and pistachios, put in bowl and set it. Then add crushed Kalakand.
Garnish the kheer with almonds, pistachios and silver paper and serve.
