Cold Cake | Madiha Saeed

Madiha Saeed shares a very easy, crunchy and creamy Cold Cake recipe: a dessert made of Marie biscuits and chocolate.

200 grams cream
5 tbsp. heaped castor sugar
5 tbsp. heaped cocoa powder
2 half rolls marie biscuits (each broken in four pieces)
1 tbsp. coffee (optional)


In a large bowl, add 3 tbsp. of cream and cocoa powder. Mix them well until all lumps are gone.
Put them aside and warm up rest of the cream, but do not cook it. Otherwise it will become oily.
Now, add caster sugar, cocoa mixture and coffee in the cream and mix it well.


Lastly, break marie biscuits in three or four parts and add them in the mixture. Mix these well.
Afterwards, pour it on a plain plastic sheet. Mould it into any shape of desire and roll it up.
Put the roll in the freezer for 7-8 hours and cut it into slices after taking it out from the freezer.
Serve cold!
