Classic Hot Chocolate

Difficulty: Easy, Total Time: 10 Minutes, Servings: 1 Serving, Core Ingredient: Apricot, Calories: 141 per glass

Description: Hot chocolaty drink. Super chocolaty and sinful; this one’s a traditional recipe!

25 grams dark chocolate chips/cooking chocolate
1 ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
1/2 cup + 1/2 cup hot milk
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar (or more if you like it sweeter)
1/8 teaspoon salt
Heavy cream & powdered sugar, for your own whipped cream

Melt the dark chocolate chips/cooking chocolate in a saucepan with cocoa powder and milk until it’s fully melted and mixed.

Now add the hot milk, the sugar and salt and stir till it’s well combined and frothy.

Whisk together heavy cream and powdered sugar to make your own whipped cream and dollop it on top. Sprinkle some chocolate shavings if you like.

Now sink into your couch with a book and blanket and drink!
