Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Hearts

Description: Tasty soft gooey cookie dough batter dipped and double dipped in smooth velvety chocolate, a perfect way to say ‘I love you’!

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. light brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 cup peanut butter
1 cup all purpose-flour
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 ½ cup cooking baking chocolate for dipping
½ cup white chocolate
A few drops of red or pink food coloring

INSTRUCTIONS:
Beat softened butter and sugar together until fully combined, then add vanilla and peanut butter and beat until fluffy. Add flour and sweetened condensed milk and beat until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Press the mixture in an 8 by 8 inch baking dish lined with parchment paper and chill in fridge. Pull off parchment paper to lift the cookie dough from the baking dish. Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut out heart shaped cookies from the dough and set on a tray lined with parchment paper and freeze while melting the chocolate.

Using a fork, dip a single piece of heart shaped cookie in the melted chocolate, until fully coated. Gently tap fork on the side of the bowl so all excess chocolate trims of. Place on tray with parchment paper and chill in fridge until chocolate in fully set.

Mix the food color with the melted white chocolate, using a piping bag decorate to your heart’s desire on the chocolate chip cookie dough heart and serve.
