Description: Fried spicy chicken balls which can be served with chili, chili garlic or tamarind mint sauce. A great addition to the Iftar table during Ramadan.
Small Onion 1
Ginger Paste ¼ tsp.
Garlic Paste ¼ tsp.
Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp.
Garam Masala ¼ tsp.
Coriander Powder ¼ tsp.
Pepper ¼ tsp.
Salt to taste
Gram Flour ½ cup
Chop the chicken boneless into small bits. In a large bowl, combine the chicken along with all the spices and onion. Add gram flour to the chicken and mix well. Make small balls out of the mixture. Heat enough oil for deep frying in a frying pan or karahi. Add the balls into the hot oil in segments and fry. Fry till the pakoras turn golden brown in color then take them out to a kitchen paper towel.
Serve hot with tea or coffee, plating with the sauce of your choice. Try our Bhelpuri recipe with these pakoras for the perfect tea time platter.
Note: You don’t need to add water to combine the mixture, the moisture from the chicken will help to bind the flour and the chicken.
