Description: Impress your guests with this easy Flan recipe that looks difficult to make but easy to do!


8 Eggs

1 Liter milk

8 Tbsp. Sugar

Electric egg beater is also recommended


Warm the milk and crack the eggs. Crack 8 eggs into a plastic bowl and “add a spoon of sugar for every egg” (8 eggs = 8 spoons). Mix well for 10-15 minutes using the beater and add the hot milk at this time, and keep mixing until the mixture looks VERY “foamy”. Preheat the oven at 180 and Fill 2 casseroles with warm water.

Pour a thin layer of caramel into every pudding mold. Fill the molds with the “foamy mixture”, then put them into the casseroles. Bake in the preheated ventilated oven at 180 for 30 minutes. Remove the desserts from the oven and let them chill to the open air for half an hour. Then, put them into the fridge for at least 1 hour.

For Caramel Syrup: Heat 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Place over medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and comes to a boil. Continue cooking, brushing down the sides of the pan with a wet pastry brush but without stirring, until mixture becomes golden amber in color. Immediately remove from heat and add 1 cup water. Return to heat and continue stirring until mixture becomes liquid. Transfer to a heatproof container and let cool completely before using.
